These areas range from natural resources to environment and institutions, Particular focus of A1 expertise is on capacity building, planning, and networking to provide its range of services. The company also offers new technology on database management systems for the needs of business, organizations, hotels, service companies and public institutions for both international and domestic clients. The proposed Project is an integral part of the overall commitment made by ADB in May 2008 at its Annual General Meeting in Madrid, Spain to provide assistance to countries hit hard by food price rises. Those most vulnerable to food price shocks need to be protected from nutritional deprivation, erosion of their real purchasing power, and asset alienation. It is proposed that the project financing should be covered by ADB’s Disaster and Emergency Assistance Policy to support urgent mitigation measures by the Government in order to tackle the food price crisis. The Company offers a wide range of services, but focuses on project management and the implementation of projects dealing with trade fairs, promotion and organizing of events, creating business ventures and livelihoods within community, capacity building, training, planning, and networking in the natural resources and environment sectors. Since its formation as a limited company in August 2006, A1 Angkor Co., Ltd. has successfully delivered a professional marketing course and first class designs for Community Fisheries Ventures in four target provinces of Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang and Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia for Tonle Sap Environmental Management Project – Component 2 (TSEMP-C2) in “Organizing Communities for Natural Resource Management in the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve” which is implemented the project by the Project Implementing Office (PIO) in Fisheries Administration (FiA) through its Project Implementing Units (PIU) in six provinces around the lake: Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Thom and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations provided technical support and Asian Development Bank (ADB) loaned to the Royal Government of Cambodia. Through working with FAO TSEMP-C2 in the last 3 months, A1 Angkor Co., Ltd. has acquired an excellent understanding of its requirements, procedures, and standards in project preparation and implementation. A1 Angkor Co., Ltd. offers highly competent professionals with the appropriate in-country experience, a proven track record in similar projects in other developing countries in Cambodia, a corporate culture based on the highest standards of professional excellence, and an overriding concern for quality and client satisfaction.
